this reminded me of this video, which describes how the prisonification/panoptification (which goes as far as the physical layout of schools) also encourages further violence

Death Stranding 2
I bought a used PS4 to exclusively to play Death Stranding and really enjoyed it, if reviews look good I think I’ll do the same with a PS5/DS2.
just finished Bionic Bay and Alan Wake 2 this week, both great! the platforming in Bionic Bay felt very unique, I wish it could have gone on a bit longer. Blue Prince with my partner has been real fun, but the progress is very slow. not sure what I’m going to move onto next, maybe Returnal?
@GuyWTriangle@hexbear.net have you been playing Nightreign single or multiplayer?
The Volt sometimes does operate in generator mode, but the ICE can also mechanically assist like a Prius when the charge is low. Weird drivetrain.
this is exactly what the US did with mRNA COVID vaccines, except they just cut it off immediately
I remember there were stories of hospitalized young adults with pneumonia who hadn’t use weed carts, only were using legit tobacco vapes. Could be they just didn’t admit to using illegal carts of course.
Edit: here’s a research article, there was a small CDC study early in 2019 where all the patients had vitamin E in their lungs, but a larger study later in 2019 only had 86% of patients reporting cannabis use, and another in 2020 where they only found vitamin e in 49% of patient samples.

Trump has been lamenting the decline of US manufacturing for decades: “if you don’t have steel, you don’t have a country.” But why blame this on the dollar’s global role? Because, Trump answers, foreign central banks do not let the dollar adjust downwards to the “right” level — at which US exports recover and imports are restrained. It is not that foreign central bankers are conspiring against America. It is just that the dollar is the only safe international reserve they can get their hands on. It is only natural for European and Asian central banks to hoard the dollars that flow to Europe and Asia when Americans import things. By not swapping their stash of dollars for their own currencies, the European Central Bank, the Bank of Japan, the People’s Bank of China and the Bank of England suppress the demand for (and thus the value of) their currencies. This helps their own exporters boost their sales to America and earn even more dollars. In a never-ending circle, these fresh dollars accumulate in the coffers of the foreign central bankers who, to gain interest safely, use them to buy US government debt.
I have a 3070ti and could only manage 1080p 60fps if I used upscaling lol
are 27 and only diagnosed with ADHD and Autism
To be clear we don’t know this is the case, this is the only health issues her father knew about and thus what was entered into court, but it’s possible she was diagnosed with something terminal or had other health issues and refused to tell her parents.
On the other hand I’ve had disabled friends who’ve had MAID brought up by doctors, mainly because their benefits situation is so dire they can’t afford to live in an apartment that covers their needs. It’s absolutely a eugenicist system, I just don’t like using the story you linked as an example as it could easily be a legitimate use of MAID, because we don’t know the details.
Based on the language I don’t think this is new Canadian border agents or anything, just stating that CBSA has about 10,000 current employees.
These retaliatory tariffs seem kinda odd, only effect about 25% of total imports and a lot of them seem to be things that would directly increase cost of living when that’s what has led to the collapse of the liberal government. I would have thought fruits/veg would have been excluded not specifically targeted as that’s a large majority of our fresh produce in winter.
American liquor like beer, wine and spirits, vegetables, clothing, shoes and perfume will be among the first items to face Canadian retaliatory tariffs. Canada will also put tariffs on American consumer products such as household appliances, furniture and sports equipment.
any time something crosses the border it already has paperwork submitted with the goods on the truck, the value, the country of origin, and classification (what kind of good it is) to determine the tax and duty due to be paid by the importing company. all they have to do is adjust the tariff rates in the computer system, so it will be collected as soon as these go into effect on Tuesday
How does this square with tarrifing Canadian oil?
Polling shows them in fourth place, still behind the Liberals, with something like 25 seats in a Conservative supermajority. Complete failure of the party to lose ground during an era of rampant fucking over of the working class.
Don’t know why the NDP would agree to dissolve Parliament just to give a majority to the conservatives, even if they gain a few seats from the liberal downfall
2015 :sadness:
Lol yeah I did the same thing
I remember listening to this years ago, but had forgotten about the part they were using it for IEDs prior to American cities. This was all the way back in 2015
