I do this with MOB cake liner. I throw it on a bit sloppy, smudge it around to get it in place, and use makeup remover to clean up the edges. Bonus: It basically also functions as eyeshadow

Windows Sound Recorder was an intermediate step for me, when I left my modest gear behind and was basically homeless. All I had access to was a library computer and the crappy headphones they had and no microphone, but I really wanted to create SOMETHING. I’m proud that I could make some really simple, lo-fi, ambient stuff with just a paperclip in the mic jack and the wide array of processing options that WSR has (adjust volume, add echo). It’s such an uphill-both-ways kind of story, though.

My advice is to try faceapp on the same picture, once feminizing and once masculinizing to get an idea of what it’s doing. I also tried it on the dog and on a baby. It gives very stereotypical features of whatever variety you ask it. Understand that it’s just a toy. It’s just a toy, but it’s also a little dangerous because it promises a falsehood that someone in the throes of dysphoria is susceptible to putting their hope in.
