postman@literature.cafeto No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•Is it safe to assume the guy i went out on a date with, just wants to sleep with me?112·3 days agoMaybe I missed something but nowhere in this discussion do you mention whether you want to sleep with him? Even when people sort of prompted you.
If you fancy him, take it to the next level. I imagine he’s keeping it light for plausible deniability in case nothing happens or he gets rejected.
Either make a move or tell him you’re not interested in a relationship. Figure out your own intentions instead of trying to mindread him.
Qobuz also has some of the highest royalty payments for artists.

I know little and care less about golf but this book was gripping! Reilly is a great writer and, despite my having read several other books on Trump (Mary Trump, Michael Wolff, etc), I really think Reilly’s explains Trumps method of operation better than every other attempt.
It’s absolutely shocking what he does in his day to day life. The anecdotes are piled high, the double dealing and fabrications are outrageous. Every single page contains some revelation even more odious than the previous.
A morbid fascination and dogged curiosity regarding the depths of Trump’s moral abyss will keep you tutting and eye-rolling to the end.
(Sounds like a sales pitch, I know. But I casually picked it up in a thrift shop for €1. No regrets!)

It plays on the American self-image as John Wayne types, when everyone in Europe knows they’re usually not very streetwise and walk around with maps and cameras talking loudly.
The other comments here are quick to jump in with opinions about how Americans don’t take any shit, implying European simps just roll over for these pesky pilferers.
It’s a real Don’t Mess with Texas vibe based on another dodgy blog article.

You’ll notice he only starts freewheeling on the last word or two of a sentence or paragraph. That’s all he’s heard.
postman@literature.cafeto politics @lemmy.world•Trump pleads ignorance after using antisemitic slur4·1 month agoI think I first heard this from an article by Tony Schwartz who wrote The Art of the Deal. He mentioned seeing the speeches book by Trump’s bed during one of their brief meetings about Trump’s book, which Trump took no part in.

It’s not quite as good as Spotify when it comes to catalogue or community playlists. Other than that, I haven’t seen any AI slop or ghost musicians, and the suggestions are very human. I believe they pay about 4x royalties that Spotify does.

I bought the Titan but returned it for being so underpowered in comparison. Is the Titan Slim2 going to improve on that?

-
Customer buys something, has neutral opinion.
-
Product has a problem, customer has negative opinion.
-
Company resolves problem well, customer now has positive opinion.
That’s a very important lesson for organisations to learn. A customer complaint is a golden advertising opportunity.
