I use Kagi and honestly I really like it… I am a paid user though so yeah to get the most out of it you gotta pay

I enjoy playing Teamfight Tactics (Riot/League of legends game). So far I don’t really use waydroid for anything else but this game.

Rando@sh.itjust.workstoHacker News@lemmy.bestiver.se•Tech hiring slows, unemployment rises, jobs report showsEnglish3·3 months agoA year ago I got laid off and it took me 6 months to find a job… and I am very skilled and have a lot of high quality experience in my field. It was brutal. As you said 4 times in those 6 months I got all the way to the last interview only to be told they went with an internal candidate.
Hard out there – fortunately I finally landed something and I am just happy to be employed in this environment
Rando@sh.itjust.worksOPto SteamDeckPirates@lemmy.dbzer0.com•Acestream on SteamdeckEnglish1·3 months agoCould be that the ace id was just not a good link. This did work but I have now went with a more native linux option using an Ubuntu container (distrobox). I will probably write a guide for that soon. It is not as easy to setup but I think it is more reliable. You have to use two programs instead of one which sucks a little bit (ace engine & vlc)

Rando@sh.itjust.workstoAnnouncements@sh.itjust.works•Our Intentions to join FedecanEnglish13·3 months agoOnly concern I guess for me is I previously made the choice to join here because I really like the idea that the users of the instance are the main driving force in the direction and choices of the instance. Just hope that kind of ‘autonomousness’ (I prob made this word up lol) stays in tact. Maybe you can comment on that cuz I didnt see it addressed in this post
Will try this tomorrow since I am observing Lent! Thanks for the recipe!
Rando@sh.itjust.worksto KDE@lemmy.kde.social•How can I shift the hue of wallpapers through the day in kde?English7·4 months agoI use [Plasma Wallpapers Dynamic](https://github.com/zzag/plasma5-wallpapers-dynamic) . Instead though I set it up where it changes some scene every few hours to match daylight conditions, but you could accomplish exactly what you are asking – you just have to provide the actual wallpaper file for each hue and then specify what time for when you build the background

I run bazzite on one if my machines and I had to do that for something I wanted. Should keep it to a minimum but since this a key piece of your workflow it should be okay
Rando@sh.itjust.worksto Framework Laptop Community@lemmy.ml•I finally caved and got a FW13, I love it!English9·4 months agoI haven’t really had to run a VM for anything but I think Qemu is the main program used by most people for running VMs.
There is also this project I was going to experiment with but I never got around to it. Maybe you could give it a go https://github.com/winapps-org/winapps

Yeah I would say start with the smaller one and its very easy to upgrade/downgrade. For me I do the highest tier one because I work in tech and I want to use all the premium LLM stuff hah
