I’ve been using keyword blocking in uBlock Origin to clean up my all feed.

To do so, open up the uBlock Origin dashboard, go to the ‘My filters’ tab, and add this filter:

lemmy.world##article.row:has-text(/word1|word2|word3|word4/i)

For example:

lemmy.world##article.row:has-text(/Trump|Elon|Musk|nazi/i)

edit lemmy.world to whatever your instance is, and the keywords to whatever stuff you don’t want to see.

Those used to be ubiquitous gas station features. I assume they were in the bathroom for privacy; but the machines were so loud, everyone in the store could hear anyways.

Same here. It actually looks decent. But I’m in no hurry. I’ll wait on it until the ultimate edition is $20 and it’s been patched up.

Kind of apples an oranges. I consider myself a fairly avid gamer. I have a massive steam library but no steam deck; I could not care less about portable gaming. I have a switch for exclusive titles that I play solely in it’s dock on my TV.

So, as a statistic, I own a switch but no steam deck. But in reality, I have spent orders of magnitude more money on steam than with Nintendo.

Just handing them money? No, I don’t. I don’t have much myself.

But I do work in a downtown area near a shelter and see a lot of the same people pass by every day. I’ll give them cold water and extra food if I have it. Certain others I will let go through my scrap metal for stuff they can sell to recyclers, and occasionally I’ll hire someone for the day to help me clean.

I still feel like a dick setting in my air conditioned truck ignoring the person setting outside in 100F+ weather with a “help me” sign.

That kinda goes back to the OP’s title. It wouldn’t be as bad if it didn’t sound terrible. I miss the early 00s when every 3rd or 4th car had giant subwoofers. I may not like what you’re playing but at least it sounds decent.

Personally I’m here for the atmosphere. Feels like the old internet. And as someone who has been around for the entirety of the internet; sometimes shit doesn’t work and you have to go do something else for a while.
