snf@lemmy.worldto Fuck AI@lemmy.world•An observation I've made about the usual apologists.8·6 days agoHmmm, is this true? The fact that AI corpos are talking about standing up brand new power plants just to keep their GPU farms running makes me a little dubious of this claim. I don’t remember Ubisoft ever being that desperate for wattage
So this is how the Quintessons got started, huh

It shouldn’t matter either way, but that dude is GQ-cover-page handsome. I can only surmise from Trump’s comment that he’s shitting his pants with envy

What the almighty fuck, Michigan?
Yeah, it could be rephrased a little as well, like “guess I stood up too fast again”
I was actually wondering about that but was too lazy to check. Thanks for the correction

The text says that this was aimed at making Wikipedia more accessible to less advanced readers, like (I assume) people whose first language is not English. Judging by the screenshot they’re also being fully transparent about it. I don’t know if this is actually a good idea but it seems the least objectionable use of generative AI I’ve seen so far.
It doesn’t scan. But it’s not bothering me. Nope not at all. Not in any way annoyed by the fact that there’s one too many syllables in the second

'Cause your friends don’t dance
And if they don’t dance
That’s a personal choice and I suppose we could be friends anyways, I mean dancing isn’t really a fundamental criterion as far as choosing friends is concerned, but right this moment we’re going dancing so I don’t think your friends would enjoy it being as they don’t dance unless I guess they just want to enjoy the music that would be perfectly fine
Rhyming “do ya” and “hallelujah” has got to be one of the ballsiest plays in music history
It still is, specifically it’s an unrealistically optimistic utopia. Relatively speaking.
It was supposed to be the taint, you fool! You’ve doomed us all!
I guess a three-egg omelette is out of the question then
