From what I learned and understood about the Bible, Jesus decided everyone was doing an awful job at following gods law, so he introduced the golden rule. This is what I tend to say to people about Harry Potter as a series. It was the first series like it to become popular, and that’s its only merit. Overall it’s very tame and bland, but it got lucky and became popular. I didn’t like it because it was too same-y. After book 3 or so, I don’t care about Harry Potter anymore. Explore someone else that’s more ordinary. It makes a much better setting for derivative works, which to me as someone who writes textbooks of lore for RPGs is more important than just making a series sell well.

One thing someone told me that I think is important: Trump (or whoever is actually running things) probably wants violent protests. That way, he can label everyone refusing a facist takeover as a terrorist and have them sent to El Salvador. He’s toyed with the idea, so it’s not absurd.
Roll20 stats one year showed primarily 5e, but that’s also what it works best with (in my opinion), and I think general sentiment has changed for d&d generally. My group started with 5e, but we haven’t really played it much recently. My first group we never did d&d, though started and never finished multiple. So I don’t think so, but it’s one of the more popularized options.
Just finished a long campaign using a system loosely based on 5e based on Animorphs that my friend made. Has entirely new classes, races, feats, and abilities.
Too many people have no idea how steak cooks. Which is fine, if you’re kind enough to ask or describe the way you want it cooked. But I once served a customer at a restaurant that ordered a medium steak. When I delievred the steak, she rudely asked, “why is there pink in it? I ordered it medium!” Absolutely insufferable. Shortly afterwards, the restaurant provided cards that show steak temps to avoid such an encounter.

This is probably true, but I remember Blockbuster was good at renting out trash movies. While Netflix does this also, some of them no streaming service wants to or can pick up today. Like the old Mario movie or the weird Red Riding Hood movie with Henry Cavill. That being said, I still wouldn’t bring it back.
