Something you can remember…
Catch alls are most useful when you are away and you need to give an email out. If you can’t remember the domain that becomes a pain.
Its really easy to get into MaM and TL, from MaM you can get invites to quality mid tier trackers such as BHD, Orpheus, Seedpool, Aither, ANT, and LST. For the vast majority of users that is going to cover all their needs.
Its just not worth spending money to buy invites.
You basically need a seedbox on the higher tier trackers and at that point debrid services are a better value.
You lost me at step 1 use shady Chinese site known for scams.
As an American it’s nice to see were not the only ones in a complete downward spiral.
Have you looked at privacy guides knowledge base? The site is informative and tailored to beginners.

Ill throw Netbird in as a choice. FOSS, privacy respecting, and doesn’t require port forwarding.
You are going to get a lot better advice posting on the pihole forum discourse.pi-hole.net
If your just browsing you could try using a reddit frontend, such as a redlib instance like redlib.catsarch.com

The opposite happened for me. Separating out Google services to another profile made me realize how little I need to interact with Google Play Services to use my phone on a daily basis.
I think the article was an interesting read. From a laymen’s perspective it felt like it got to side tracked by the examples mentioned in the intro (the initial list example and signal vs mls).
When I initially started reading I had thought there would be more information for how someone that is new to a subject could spot and differentiate these lists from the ones the author says the article isn’t about without being an expert.
Instead it feels like the title of the article ends up being more of a sub header and the sub header “How Do You Compare Signal to MLS?” was actually a more appropriate title.
Such an overused trope and really isn’t relevant with DNS resolvers where there are multiple good and, proven, free options.
Not to mention there are tons of things people pay for and still end up being the product, ISPs being a major culprit.
I always find it ironic and, a bit laughable, to see users make that statement while participating on a free social media platform.
To each their own. I have over 30 devices on my network and am no where close to 300,000 unique queries but maybe im significantly underestimating the average user.
Considering how many other good free solutions (or non subscription based) there are I tend to doubt paying for the pro version of NextDNS is worth it if you are going over the free limit.
This strategy of generating fake data just doesn’t work well. It requires a ton of resources to generate fake data that can’t be easily filtered which ends up making the strategy non viable on most situations. Look at Mullvads DAITA and how it constantly has to be improved to fight this and, that’s just for basic protection.
There is a bit of a cognitive dissonance that goes on, where people seem to understand that you are tracked constantly online and offline through all sorts of complex means but still think relatively mundane solutions could break that system.

Privacy Guides is a good resources for this.

NextDNS has a free tier. Are you at risk of going over 300,000 queries per month limit? That’s quite a bit for home users.
Even then it still functions as a DNS without blocking.
Imagine owning a house or property in 2025 lol
It does not “cause no seeders”. It just doesn’t typically seed (although some do offer seedbox options). Its a leecher, like the millions of users who torrent without port forwarding or stop seeding after the file is complete.
For debrid users it doesn’t matter. The PT try hards do all the seeding and the media itself is typically already cached on the debrid services servers.
My point being if your going to pay to access pirated content, buying a debrid service is a much better value then a PT invite or a standalone seedbox.
