Being an old person, I seem to remember that the “Moral Majority” and “Satanic Panic” folks were mainly (though not entirely) Replublican.
Politics affects life. If political news happens to be uplifting, it should be allowed.
61·2 个月前Telling people to commit suicide, transphobia/dogwhistles, and violent language will not be tolerated. I have seen all of the above in this thread, and I have removed the comments.
Anyone continuing to post these comments will be banned as per the Lemmy.World Terms of Service Section 1.1 (“Attacks on people”) and Section 1.2 (“Discrimination against minority/at-risk groups”).
Neither this site nor this community allow transphobia or violent rhetoric.
I don’t think we need a rigid constitution or anything complicated. This community has been chugging along well so far.
The simpler and more straightforward the rules are, the better.

3·5 个月前I’ve actually had some decent vegan fast food. The PLNT Burger chain in the U.S. is tasty, but it’s more expensive than it should be.
I’m lucky enough to have a few good local places with better prices. My local pub (I wish I could shout it out, but it’d reveal my location too specifically) has a few great Impossible options that don’t cost too much.
